COURSE: PG DIPLOMA IN CYBERPSYCHOLOGY (PGDC)

ABOUT THE COURSE: School of Forensic Psychology offers one year PG Diploma in Cyberpsychology. The goal of the Post Graduate Diploma in Cyberpsychology (PGDC) curriculum is to learn and develop professional skills so as to understand the interplay between human psychology and content in cyberspace. The program aims to develop a better understanding of the psychological impact of engaging with the Internet, human interaction with technology, and in virtual environments. The PGDC aims to identify the sphere of social computing in terms of applications and websites such as Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn and in terms of functionalities such as chat, postings, blogs, and playing online games. The program includes various topics: Introduction to Psychology and Cyberpsychology, The Psychology of Cyberspace Relationship, Effect of Cyberspace in Decision Making, Psychology of Social Networking and Social Computing, Psychology of Online Crimes, and Cyber Support in Healthcare. ELIGIBILITY: The course is open to graduates from any discipline or equivalent from a recognized university with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate required. For SC/ST and PwD category, candidates with 45 % or equivalent marks are required.

ADMISSION PROCEDURE: The candidates can apply online through the admission portal in the website https://www.nfsu.ac.in/admission . Candidates must first register and then fill in necessary Personal details, Program Selection, Entrance exam & Academic Qualification details and pay the application fee of Rs.1000/- through net banking, credit card or debit card. If a candidate wants to apply for more than one course then separate application forms along with application fees for each course must be submitted. Candidates must upload following documents along with the application:

Passport size photo
Signature of the candidate
Graduation Mark sheet
Admission is based on the merit marks obtained in the Graduation course. IMPORTANT DATES:
