Course Affiliation: The Course is affiliated with Ranchi University. RINPAS M.Phil. in Clinical Psychology course is recognized by RCI.

ELIGIBILITY: The course is open to the candidates who have obtained an MA or M.Sc. in Psychology from a recognized university by the UGC, securing not less than 55% marks in the aggregate Master’s degree (as per RCI guidelines).

ADMISSION PROCEDURE: The candidates may download the application from the website www.ranchiuniversity.ac.in .

The application fee is Rs.1200/- for General category and reserved category students, outside Jharkhand. Rs.600/- for reserved category applicants within Jharkhand. The fee is to be paid through Demand Draft in favor of ‘Registrar, Ranchi University, Ranchi’ and it should be enclosed along with the application form. Candidates must enclose a self-attested photocopy of their final year mark sheet and other relevant documents with the application form. The completed application should reach the office of the Controller of Examinations, RU, Ranchi.

Examination Pattern

• Number. of Questions: 100

• Total Marks: 200 (2 marks/right answer)

• Scheme of Marking: Negative marking with a penalty of 1 mark/wrong answer

• Syllabus: Subjects covered in MA Psychology Syllabus

· The final selection of the candidate will be done on a merit basis as per the performance in the entrance examination and interview.

Important Dates of 2022: 1. Starting date for the submission of application: 26/3/2022 2. Last date for the submission of application: 13/4/2022 3. Entrance Test: will be announced.

STIPEND A monthly stipend as per RU rules, Rs.8,000 per month will be paid to the admitted candidates for a period of a maximum of two years.
